Joe Budden Arrested In NYC And Misses Slaughterhouse Concert

Joe Budden was arrested last night Thursday, before taking stage at the Best Buy Theater to perform with his Slaugherhouse brothers.  His arrest was due to a 2007 traffic violation which yielded a warrant for his arrest.

His absence was missed but it didn’t stop the show, as Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, and Royce Da 5′ 9” held things down and kept the show going.

The crowd chanted “Joey, Joey, Joey” after the Slaughterhouse crew told the audience that Joe Budden was arrested right before making the concert.  While chanting, Royce interrupted and said, “We love Joey too, chanting for him ain’t gonna get him out of jail.”

Joe Budden Debuts New Song “Put It Down” Featuring Lil Wayne

At Irving Plaza in NYC the Jersey breed rapper Joe Budden debuted a new song titled Put It Down which features Lil Wayne.  This collaboration is unthinkable.

When Joell Ortiz asked the audience who they couldn’t imagine Joe Budden making a song with, no one thought of Lil Wayne, but when the song played and Weezy verse came up the crowd went wild.

I can’t wait for this joint to drop with the mastered version.  It sounds like it’s gonna be epic!!

Joe Budden & Tahiry Talk About Their Relationship And Courting

Joe Budden sits down with his ex-girlfriend Tahiry to talk about their relationship and if she deserves to be courted if Joey decides to enter back into her life.  The pair was together for five years and have been broken up for two years now.  Joe is known to include her into his rap songs and bare their entire relationship on wax for the world to hear.

XXLMag.com recently did a story with Tahiry where they asked a series of questions pertaining to Joe Budden, their relationship, and the scenes from the video above.  To read the full write up, go here.  Here’s an excerpt:

There’s a part of the video where you’re telling Joe he would have to court you to get you back. Can you explain?

That was pretty much clearing it up because…clearly, men and women are in two separate zip codes. We speak two different languages. I meant every word I said on that clip. It’s pretty much me explaining to him why we got to where we got to today or two, three years ago when we broke up. It’s explaining to men that it’s important for them to do things for their woman. It doesn’t matter if she’s crazy independent…little things matter to keep a relationship alive. Showing that you care and not forgetting what was there. Him laughing and still not thinking about how he moved in the past was wrong. A lot of men go through that. They’re like, ‘I know you!’ Well, the reason why you know me is you’ve done somethings in the past that you’ve seemed to have forgotten and this is why things fade. It was general conversation about what men tend to forget that women need.
