Jay-Z has rubbed some the wrong way with his political diss song and Cuban affiliation which he defends his recent Cuba trip. White House reporters questioned Jay Carney about the lyrics and if Jigga got the President’s consent to go to Cuba. Jay Carney says Jay-Z did not speak with President Barack Obama and he took the legal route of getting authorization from the US Treasury for his Cuban visit.
Jay-Z shows his ass in this new joint he titles, Open Letter which is produced by none other than super producers Swizz Beatz and Timberland. He shows that he doesn’t give a f*ck what people think about his recent trip to Cuba. It’s almost a slap in President Barack Obama face. #FIRE

It’s finally being revealed the real reason why Cam’ron and Jay-Z has beef. It started way back when…
The two artist have a long history of beef and many suspect promoting Cam’ron to Vice President of Roc-A-Fella Records back in 2002 was the main cause of fall out for the Roc-A-Fella crew. However, the tension between them started way before then.
The way the ex-Roc-A-Fella crew explains it in this video is when Cam was first starting out Jay-Z and Dame Dash were present at Cam’s video set and they asked Jigga to jump in the video, but he declined so Cam and the Dipset family took it to heart — brushed the n*gga off like he was a lame.
After Cam’ron started getting buzz and solidified his spot in the rap game, Jay-Z hears a Cam track while in the studio and decides to add a verse to the track without Cam’s consent or prior knowledge. When Cam hears the track with Jay’s verse on it he dismisses it and says he doesn’t need it. He tells Young Guru (the studio engineer) to delete the verse in its entirety so it doesn’t leak. Jay-Z takes this as a slap in the face, feels disrespected by the stunt and tension builds from here.
These guys really just need to put their differences aside and do what’s right for hip hop. It would’ve been amazing for Roc-A-Fella to exist today with all the great talent they’ve produced over the years. I think we are long gone from the days of a true reunion, but hopefully they can work together and collaborate on a track again!!!
Roc Nation Sports is now official. The partnership between Jay-Z flagship company, Roc Nation and CAA, has went down today to form Roc Nation Sports. The first client for the new company is none other than NY Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano.
Jigga has taken his brand to new heights with this move. Now as a sports agency he can manage the careers of athletes just as he does with artist. This is a tremendous leap for the New York native, but it may cost him. It’s said, if he takes Roc Nation Sports on as a full fledged sports agency then he’ll have to relinquish his ownership in Brooklyn Nets.
Sometimes you have to take one step back to make two steps forward!
Jay-Z says,
“Because of my love of sports, it was a natural progression to form a company where we can help top athletes in various sports the same way we have been helping artists in the music industry for years.”
Cano adds:
“At this point in my career, I am ready to take a more active role in my endeavors on and off the field. I am confident that the pairing of Roc Nation Sports and CAA Sports will be essential in helping me accomplish my short- and long-term goals. I am making this important decision now so I can keep my focus on helping the Yankees succeed in 2013, while minimizing any distractions for me and my teammates.”
Recently, Young Guru previewed the remix to Kendrick Lamar hit single B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe while down in Houston for SXSW. The remix included a verse from Jay-Z and took the Internet by storm. Now the mastered version makes its way onto the net. #PureDopeness

Last night Jermaine Dupri and the So So Def family celebrated their 20th anniversary at Fox Theater in Atlanta. During the concert JD brought the one and only Jigga Man out on stage. Jay-Z got the crowd hype and gave a quick performance for the people. S/O #yardie.
