Kendrick Lamar Brings Out J. Cole In North Carolina At A&T University

Kendrick Lamar performed last night at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC.  He brings J. Cole out on stage and the crowd goes wild.  J. Cole performs “Power Trip” and Kendrick Lamar performs “Swimming Pools“.  The audio on this one is terrible.  You’ve been warned!!!  Born Sinner in stores June 25th.  mAAd City in stores now.

J. Cole In The Studio Making “Power Trip” + Plays The Beat He Made For Jay-Z

J. Cole sits in the studio to revisit the creative process for his Power Trip track featuring Miguel.   He then  plays the beat he made for his boss, Jay-Z.  Tell Em Brooklyn’s on the Way.  It started off a little corny, but once the beat dropped it was kinda catchy.  Cole is definitely talented!!!

J. Cole Joins Miguel On Stage At Barclays Center To Perform “Power Trip”

Miguel has been opening up for Alicia Keys while she’s on her ”Set The World On Fire” tour.  One of their latest stops was the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.  Miguel invites J. Cole on the stage to perform their collaboration single, Power Trip.

J. Cole has been invited to speak to students at Harvard University about stereotypes, gentrification, racism, and how it all plays into hip hop.  He starts off by telling us about his writing process and shows us how his mind works by touching topics of politics, the streets, industry inner workings, and more.

At a Footaction event in Hollywood, CA the North Carolina rapper J. Cole gives a performance with a live band.  He recites three never heard before versus.  He even kicks a verse about his messed up grill (teeth) and fixing it.  We’ll call that one “Crooked Smile”.

Diggy Simmons gets back at J. Cole and the youngin’ may have just up’d the ante.  The ball is now in Jermaine’s court and let’s see if he drops it or drives it to the paint?  Last week Cole sent shots to the little talented kid so this is a retaliation diss track.

J. Cole Disses Diggy Simmons On New Freestyle

J. Cole keeps the Diggy Simmons beef going with a new freestyle where he gets at the youngster.  While out in Charlotte, NC rocking with Kendrick Lamar the Carolina native J. Cole takes to the stage and kicks an acapella freestyle.  He waste no time throwing subliminal at Diggy.  Here’s a line from the verse,

“The game need balance.  Woke up this morning to the rumors of n*ggas wildin’.  Picture me hating on a young nigga with talent, album flopped but its cool he caked out on his allowance.”
