Brooklyn Rapper Climbs Traffic Light Pole In Times Squares And Starts Rapping

An aspiring 33 year old Brooklyn rapper, Raymond Velasquez, rapped his way to the top [of a traffic light pole in Times Square NY].  After being kicked out of the nearby MTV studios when trying to promote his CD Raymond took his stage act to the traffic light poles and climbed atop, then tossed his demo CD to the crowd while rapping and reciting his songs.  He was seeking fame and he surely got more than his fifteen minutes as it took two hours before police convinced him to climb down.  He was swiftly driven off in an ambulance to Bellvue Mental Hospital where he underwent a psychological evaluation.

Police Cruiser Rams A Black Bear In Tennessee, But Bear Isn’t Hurt

A police cruiser travels down Highway 127 on Singal Mountain in Sequatchie County, Tennessee when a black bear decides to jump in the cruiser path and gets rammed with force.  The bear tumbles and skids across the highway, but surprisingly jumps up instantly and runs into the nearby woods. 

 

If it were a human then that nasty accident would have surely ended fatally or the very least critical condition, but of course bears are more resilient than us humans!  Although, I wouldn’t had expected the bear to jump up and run off as it did — maybe lie there for a second or show signs of pain!  I’m sure when it got into the woods and felt it was safe the pain kicked in like a mothafreaker!

Man Proposes To His Girlfriend In The Club And The Unthinkable Happens

 

Has this ever happened to you?  What about in a crowded nightclub?  Well here’s the deal, the boyfriend made a marriage proposal to his girlfriend at a club and the boyfriend got rejected, left holding the ring!  Wow! Add that to the list of embarrassing moments. 

 

If you’re gonna plan a public proposal then know your soon to be wife enough to know she’s not gonna make a fool of you in public!!  She could have taken the ring to help him save face, then dump his ass later in private!!  What he’d do to mess that up??? Check the video after the jump!

Young Teen Rakes In $100K Per Year From A Business She Started At 9

 

Leanna Archer is one of the youngest entrepreneurs in America.  Starting her natural hair care business at nine years old Leanna has been successful at growing her company and she now earns over $100,000 each year.  She is the youngest person to ring the NASDAQ Stock Market opening bell.  She also started her own non-profit organization, Leanna Archer Education Foundation to provide kids in Haiti with education and meals.

 

Get ya’ money Leanna!!!  Always good to see one from the younger generation who has their stuff together!!  Much props and wish you nothing but the best!!!

Rock The Bells 2011 Lineup

 

The Rock The Bells 2011 Festival lineup has been announced.  The tour starts in August and tickets go on sale June 4th.  Pre-ticket sales are available on June 3rd, which may be worthwhile since this concert will likely be sold out shortly after tickets go on sale to the general public.  There are over 30 acts included in the lineup including Nas, Lauryn Hill, Mobb Deep, Erykah Badu, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, Curren$y, Slaughterhouse, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Blackmoon, Big K.R.I.T., and so many more!!!  It’s going to be an event to remember!
