Malcom X grandson, Malcom Shabazz was killed in Tijuana, Mexico during a robbery gone bad. Reportedly, he was shot and thrown from atop a building. The 27-year old had a troubled youth and was trying to reestablish himself in society.
When he was 12 years old, Malcolm, was responsible for setting a fire which ultimately killed his grandmother, Betty Shabazz. He was sentenced to 18 months in juvenile detention, but served four years due to an extension.
He made strides to turn his life around, but continually hit roadblocks. At the time of his death he was in the process of writing a book. He was also enrolled in school at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. #RIP Malcolm!!
